With all the benefits of improved productivity, cost saving, and efficiency which automation brings, it can be tempting to overhaul your entire logistics system with new technology.


But, the best way to implement new automation systems in your organization is actually to start small, and focus on successfully automating one task at a time.


In an article for @Automation.com, @Ken Koenemann, VP of Technology and Supply Chain at @TBM Consulting Group, says that his advice for introducing automation is to “Prove and move”.


As the manufacturing expert explains, “Instead of building and implementing a monstrous system all at once, you should automate in the smallest increments possible. Pick one thing, prove that it provides value and then move on to the next.”
